MAW
A downloadable game for Windows
MAW is a simple horror game that represents a unique take on the idea of a "Top-Down Shooter". As a plumbing engineer employed by the government, you are tasked with descending into the Municipality's Abandoned Waterworks facility to investigate a potential structural issue in its bowels.
Armed only with a torch, the game has you navigate through procedurally generated levels in search of hatches to take you deeper into the facility. But it soon becomes clear that you are not as alone as you feel.
Notes:
W A S and D move the character.
Space will let you interact with ladders to return to the menu and leave the game.
Space (Hold) will focus your torch light, which burns enemies.
Space (Hold) will open hatches when next to them.
Red pickups on walls are batteries.
MAW is an early prototype created by Erik Prinz in the space of 2 weeks.

Install instructions
Download and extract the .zip file.
Run the "MAW.exe" file in the extracted folder.

Good sound design. I think the game is a little too dark. Maybe make the torch brighter to help combat that.
